Summary

From AMI 7.2, Price Types can be found in the new 'Configuration Options' of AMI, which is designed to show gadgets with an administrative function. The Admin Browser gadget is deprecated from Agility 7.2.

Agility allows you to store different price values for objects in the same price list. Typically, this can be used to store price value for banded prices.

The list of Price Types potentially could be very long, and so a Filter text box is provided. Enter a value to filter the list. Like similar filters in AMI, it is case-insensitive and accepts the wildcard characters ? (match any one character) and * (match any number of characters).

Select a Price Type to edit it.

Gadget Action Menu Items

Create Price Type...

Opens an editor to let you define a new Price Type.

Edit Price Type...

An alternative to clicking on a Price Type's name to edit it.

Delete Price Type...

Deletes the selected Price Types.

Access Rights...

Administrator users can set the access rights to Price Types for User Groups or individual Users. These access rights apply to Price Types in general, not to specific Price Types.

Add—create new definitions
Edit—change existing definitions
Remove—remove existing definitions
Inherit—use the access rights from the parent group

Refresh

Clears the Filter field.
