Summary
From AMI 7.2, Search Servers can be found in the new 'Configuration Options' of AMI, which is designed to show gadgets with an administrative function. The Admin Browser gadget is deprecated from Agility 7.2.
Search Servers are the definitions required for Agility to use third party search engines and their indexes.
Select a Search Server to edit it.
Search Server definitions
- Host Name—the name or IP address of your search server
- Host Port—the port used by your search server
- Custom Properties—any custom properties that are required by your search server
An example of custom properties for an Elastic Search server is:elasticsearch.server.clusterName=elasticsearchagility

Gadget Action Menu Items
Create Search Server...
Opens an editor to define a new Search Server.
Edit Search Server...
An alternative to clicking on a Search Server's name to open its editor.
Delete Search Server...
Deletes the selected Search Servers.
Access Rights...
Administrator users can set the access rights to Search Servers for User Groups or individual Users. These access rights apply to Search Servers in general, not to specific Search Servers.
- Add—create new definitions
- Edit—change existing definitions
- Remove—remove existing definitions
- Inherit—use the access rights from the parent group

Clears the Filter field.
