To Do List gadget
Information valid from AMI version 8.0 SP 7
Summary
The To Do List gadget displays objects at workflow states you own.
Select Search to display the list.
Basic Options
The To Do List gadget will show objects within a selected structure point that are at an object workflow status you own.
You can also use three checkboxes to display objects by their attributes:
- Global attribute workflow status—show objects with a relevant global attribute workflow status.
- Local attribute workflow status—show objects with a relevant local attribute workflow status.
- Attribute's Needs Translation flag—show objects with the Needs Translation flag set for one or more attributes.
Within
You must limit search results to those objects found within a specific structure point. Select Set to make a selected object instance the Within structure point.
Filter
By default the To Do list results are modified only by the settings above. However, there is also an optional Filter drop-down control that shows custom search filters defined for the gadget in the current workspace. For example, a filter could search only for objects in Event structures.
Custom filters use Agility Query Language (AQL) queries, defined in the gadget's configuration. See A Guide to the Agility Query Language (AQL) for more information on AQL.
Be careful not to accidentally disable the Within field: if your AQL doesn't start with something like "FIND BELOW " or "FIND CHILD ", the search will be across all structures rather than below the Within structure point.
The default choice is "No Filter" and, if no filters are defined, this will also be the only choice available.
If a filter is selected the object status and any checkbox options are ignored.
