Summary
The Lightbox gadget is a complement to the Asset gadget: in addition to showing the assets linked to the current object, you can also see the assets for the current object's parent, ancestors, children, descendants, or siblings. In addition, the Lightbox gadget can show the assets in Asset Choice Lists.
In general the Lightbox gadget looks and behaves similarly to the Asset gadget. The one major difference is that the Lightbox gadget is read-only: it is purely a way to select assets and relations.
Just like the Asset gadget, the Lightbox gadget has both Thumbnail and List views.
Assets that do not have an instance in an Asset structure are not shown in the Lightbox gadget.
Thumbnail View
For each asset you can see:
- The Asset Relation name at the top (except for choice lists)
- A thumbnail of the asset
- A selection checkbox
- The name of the asset at the bottom right
In Thumbnail view the assets are always sorted by asset name.
The relation name indicates the relation used to link the asset.
List View
For each asset you can see:
- A selection checkbox
- A thumbnail of the asset
- Zero or more of the asset's attributes, chosen via the Select Details menu item
In List view you can click on any column's heading to sort by that column's values
Assets to Display
The first dropdown menu on the gadget's toolbar lets the user select which collection of assets to display. There are three groups of collections:
- Previews—Preview images of the current object, or its ancestors, its siblings, etc.
- Linked—Asset objects linked to the current object, or its ancestors, its siblings, etc.
- Choice Lists—The Agility asset choice lists selected in the gadget's configuration.
Asset Filters
The second dropdown contains an entry for each Agility asset filter, sorted alphabetically. When an asset filter is selected, only assets matching that filter will be displayed.

You can resize the asset previews.
The maximum and minimum magnifications are defined in the gadget's configuration.
Gadget Action Menu Items
Copy
This menu item is only enabled if one or more assets are selected.
Selected assets will be placed onto the AMI clipboard. If they have relation information, then that is also copied to the clipboard. If no relation information is available (i.e. for choice list assets) then simple asset information is copied to the clipboard.
Select Details
This menu item is only enabled when the Lightbox gadget is in List view. It opens a dialog to select the attributes to display as columns in the List view. You can only select attributes that belong to an attribute set associated with an Asset object type, or attributes that exist on at least one of the assets in the list.
