Favourites gadget

Favourites gadget

Information valid from AMI version 8.0 initial release

Summary

The Favourites gadget shows a list of object instances which the user has selected through gadgets like the Browse gadget, organised in a series of user-defined folders. Selecting an object in the Favourites gadget makes that object instance the current context.

If an object instance is the current context then it is also highlighted in the Favourites gadget.

Each user has their own list of favourites and can organise them as they wish, in one or more folders.

If there's more than one favourites folder, an object instance can only appear within one of those folders. However, if the object has several instances then each of those specific instances can be added to different favourites folders.
