If you're an Administrator, you can also set how a system default for results and a layout to use for specific object types.

Results Layout

A results layout determines whether results are displayed in a list view, and if so, which columns are displayed in the list, or whether a results template is used.

Show tooltips—enable to show Agility information such as object ID and Name Path when you hover over a search result.

Always use My Layout—enable to override any layout defined for the Saved Search, Object Type or as the System Default.

Default Result Layout—choose whether the List View () or a specific Template () is active when results are first displayed.

List View Columns—select the columns to display in the List View.

Available Templates—select which templates are available from the Template () menu option. See Search Templates in AMI for more information.

My Layout

This is your personal results layout.

By enabling Always use My Layout you can override any layout defined for a Saved Search, Object Type or the System Defaults.

Saved Search

If a Saved Search that you own is active then you can set the layout for that search.

Object Type

If you're an Administrator and a Saved Search is not active and one object type is selected as a filter then you can set the default results layout for searches that find that object type.

System Defaults

If you're an Administrator, a Saved Search is not active and the results are not filtered to one object type then you can set the default results layout for searches.
