NEW USER WORKFLOW, PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENTS 

CXO version 22.3 offers increased productivity and control with a new workflow feature, as well as performance enhancements.  

Highlights of this release include:   

• Greater productivity and more control with new workflow 
• Faster report preview 
• Additional Longview connectivity 

 Greater Productivity With New Workflow 

Version 22.3 introduces the first set of functionalities of a brand-new workflow feature in CXO. This new workflow feature allows users to keep track of their reporting processes and ensure timely delivery during the last part of the closing process, i.e., delivering reports and report books. 

The workflow covers completing and reviewing data and comments in CXO. As a result, CXO is now able to display data and commentary status on reports. This informs users whether the report is ready for analysis.   

Workflow Status Indicator 

The top right corner shows the report status. There are individual icons for data, commentary, and workflow readiness which allow users to see in a single glance what the status of the displayed report is. 

Workflows Overview  

A workflow tracking page gives users with workflow responsibilities an overview of overdue and upcoming tasks, providing team members with control and a clear overview of the reporting process. 

Faster Report Preview 

Generating report previews/thumbnails for unpublished reports in the Browse Reports menu is now faster and more efficient, as CXO no longer generates thumbnails for your unpublished reports, only for published reports. There is a setting to switch on/off report preview generation for unpublished reports. 

Additional Longview Connectivity 

A connector to Longview Plan for CXO users was added in version 22.2. Next, the current version 22.3 introduces a connector to Longview Transfer Pricing. CXO can already connect to Longview Close and Longview Tax. 

Additionally, it is now possible to download a standard set of seven tax reports when using Longview Tax (both for IAS and ASC). It is still possible to build your own tax reports using either templates or the free format report creator.
