Information valid from AMI version 8.0 initial release

Summary

From AMI 7.2, Glossary Terms can be found in the new 'Configuration Options' of AMI, which is designed to show gadgets with an administrative function. The Admin Browser gadget is deprecated from Agility 7.2.

The list of Glossary Terms potentially could be very long, and so a filter text box is provided. Users can type a value in here, and the list will filter out all items whose names do not match the filter. Like similar filters in AMI, it is case-insensitive and accepts the wildcard characters ? (match any one character) and * (match any number of characters).

Select a Glossary Term to edit it.

 Create Glossary Term...

 Edit Glossary Term...

An alternative to clicking on an term's name to open its editor.

 Delete Glossary Term...

Deletes the selected terms.

References to deleted terms will not be removed from attribute values or choice lists where they have been used. They will remain as unresolvable tags.

If you believe this may happen and you still wish to delete the term, make a note of the Glossary Term's ID! With this information, you may be able to process your data either to remove unresolvable tags or to create a new Glossary Term with the previous ID.
