Example:
Depending on the list dimension chosen for a specific list, the first column(s) will be the dimension(s) which is chosen for each item. In the example above, those are Category, Year and Version dimensions.
List Attributes
In this List of attributes the basic and advanced attributes are listed. Additionally, if any values are available for the attribute, a direct link to an example on how this value affects the preview of the report is listed.
Basic Attributes
List Attribute | Description | Available Values | Default |
---|---|---|---|
Empty | By setting this attribute to yes, the column will be shown as empty. This means that no data will be queried and only the label/custom description will be showed. | No, Yes | No |
Comment | By enabling the comment option, the end user can add custom comments on the whole row. | No, Yes | No |
Visible | By setting this attribute to no, the column will be hidden. Hiding a column can be useful for a calculation step in a formula. | Yes, No | Yes |
Custom Description | The custom description overrides the default generated column header. You can use either a fixed text or a Dynamic Label Expression. Use the <BR> tag for a line break. | Empty, Populated | Empty |
Name | The default name of the item is displayed. | n/a | n/a |
Formula | By specifying a formula this column will be calculated. | Empty, Populated | Empty |
Format | The /wiki/spaces/CXO/pages/2806776298 attribute will specify the look and feel of the column. This format is not applied to the header of the column, but only to its values. | Default, Default_bold, Default_left, ... | Default Format |

Advanced Attributes
To access the advanced attributes, the Advanced button marked on the image above should be selected.
List Attribute | Description | Available Values | Default |
---|---|---|---|
Header Format | The header /wiki/spaces/CXO/pages/2806776298, defines how the column header should be formatted. The available values are identical with the ones used by the "Format" attribute, but applied only on the column header. | Default, Default_bold, Default_left, ... | Default Format |
Reverse Valuation | When this attribute is set to yes, the Valuation will be reversed. This means negative becomes positive and the other way around. Changing the valuation is possible only when the Valuation is set to Positive or Negative and will influence the variance colouring. If the Valuation is set to "NotSet", the Reverse Valuation cannot be changed. | No, Yes * | No |
Valuation | The value of the valuation is inherited from the underlying system and cannot be directly changed. | N/A | N/A |
Reverse Sign | When this attribute is set to yes, the sign will be flipped. | No, Yes | No |
Suppress Value | This value sets automatic column suppressing, click on the type to see the suppressing options. | None, SuppressNoData, SuppressZeros, SuppressNoDataAndZeros * | None |
Variance Threshold | Threshold value for the Variance (e.g., Actual vs. Budget). If the Variance is less than this Threshold, then a neutral variance color is used (Orange). Otherwise Red (indicating an unfavorable variance) or Green (favorable variance) is used. Use e.g. -200;300 for an absolute threshold or -10%;20% for a relative threshold. | Empty, Populated | Empty |
Suppress Variance | Allows you to set the conditions for not suppressing the Variance, by using a pick list | SuppressNoBaseOrReference NoSuppress, SuppressNoBase, SuppressNoReference * | SuppressNoBaseOrReference |
