Content Settings

Rows | This list defines the rows of the report. This list influences most of the look and feel of the report. All list formatting options are supported. | Yes |
Columns | Mandatory | A list of items that will be used as columns in the report. Each item can be a combination of members from the dimensions associated with the list (usually Category, Year and/or Period). | Yes |
Item Selector | A list of items that will be used as a Pick List in the report. Each item can be a combination of members from the dimensions associated with the list. Usually, the Account dimension is used. | No |

Labels, Formats and Colors

Merge Column Headers | If Yes: Column-headers with common dimension members will be merged (from left to right), using one of the selected methods either single , multi layer or none | Yes |
Exclude From Merge | Specify the dimensions which should be excluded from the column merge (see above) when using the Multi Layer Algorithm. The dimensions should be specified in a list with semi colons to delimit the values eg ENT;ACC;YER | No |
Freeze Headers | When the report exceeds the available space on the screen, freeze either the Column headers so that when the user scrolls down the page the Column headers are maintained so that they can be read properly. When freezing rows they will only be frozen when the row member description is in column 0 ( see Member Description Position below) | Yes |
Member Description Position | Determines the column-position of the dimension member-descriptions. 0 means that the descriptions are at the leftmost position and 7 means that it comes after the 7th column, in 8th position. | Yes |
Label Column-Width | Maximum number of pixels reserved for the column with member-descriptions. | Yes |
Scale | This defines the scaling used in the report. Options are: Unchanged (no scaling), Thousands, Millions, Billions, Percentage. The last option multiplies the amount by 100 to show for example an amount of 0.75 from the source as '75%' in the CXO-Cockpit. The scale setting is the default for all data in the report, but can be overruled by a specific (non-default) scaling in the Member List. | Yes |
Precision | This defines the number of decimals used for presenting the number. Options are 0-12. Similar to the Scale setting, the Precision setting is the default for all data in the report, but can be overruled by a specific (not -1) precision in the Member list. | Yes |
Palette | Color Palette allows you to customize colors displayed in a report. | Yes |
Replace Blanks By | Enter a character or string that you want to see instead of missing values. | No |
Left Footer Text | Enter a text that will appear in the lower left part of the report. This is dynamic label where you can use dimension values like [VAL] or one or more of the listed static indicators. | Yes |
Variance
Setting | Description | Mandatory |

Variance Style | The variance style has the following options: Arrow, Background, Bar, BarAndValue, Border, Font, None, TrafficLight, TrendArrow. | Yes |
Variance Threshold | Threshold value for the Variance (e.g., Actual vs. Budget). If the Variance is less than the 1st threshold value, then Red (indicating an unfavorable variance) is used. If the Variance is greater than the 2nd threshold value, then Green (favorable variance) is used. And if Variance is between the 2 threshold values, Orange (neutral variance) is used. Use, for example, -200;300 for absolute thresholds or -10%;20% for relative thresholds. | Yes |
Other Settings

Frequency | This defines the frequency of the report. Options are M (Monthly), Q (Quarterly) , Y (Yearly) or Any (user select). The frequency setting also impacts the options in the Point of View: Upon selecting M, the user can only select the Months. If you select Q, the user can only select Quarters. Selecting Any (user select) will allow the user to select either a Month, Quarter or Year from the Point Of View as required. | Yes |
