Valuation
Valuation defines whether variances should be considered negative (red color) or positive (green color).
In most cases the valuation is driven by the account dimension and is retrieved directly from the account attributes form the source system.
For example:
- Account attribute Interco Difference Balance Sheet: Positive valuation
- Account attribute Total Assets: Positive valuation
- Account attribute Total Equity: Negativevaluation
- Account attribute Total Long Term Liabilities: Negative valuation
For Hyperion Essbase the expense reporting property is used.
The Valuation value is shown in the Contents Panel, as on the screenshot below:
