List Attributes
Basic Attributes
List Attribute | Description | Available Values | Default | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Empty | Empty tree members are not shown on the value tree. | No, Yes | No | ||||
Visible | By setting this attribute to no, the tree member will be hidden. Hiding a tree member can be useful for a calculation step in a formula. | Yes, No | Yes | ||||
Custom Description | The custom description overrides the default generated name. You can use either a fixed text or a Dynamic Label Expression | Empty, Populated | EmptyOrder | Use the order attribute to reorder the rows. | 1, 2, 3... | Max + 1 | |
Name | The default name of the item is displayed. | n/a | n/a | ||||
Formula | By specifying a formula this | tree memberline will be calculated. | Empty, Populated | Empty | Format | The /wiki/spaces/CXO/pages/2806776298 will specify the look and feel of the tree member. | Default, Default_bold, Default_left, ... |
Default FormatDrill | By assigning a drill list to a row, a drill icon will appear in front of the line in the report. This drill list allows the end-user to drill to that list. If a dimension member of an item is a parent in the dimension hierarchy then the end user can also assign a dynamic drill to an item instead of another list. | Empty, Populated | Empty | ||||
X Coordinate | The X coordinate defines the position of the tree member on the X Axis, see screenshot for the X positions. | 0, 1, 2, 3, ... | 0 | ||||
Y Coordinate | The Y coordinate defines the position of the tree member on the Y Axis, see screenshot for the Y positions. | 0, 1, 2, 3, ... | 0 | ||||
Unary Operator | The unary operator defines the symbol (See screenshot) in front of each tree member. | +, -, /, * | + | ||||
Parent Item | Select a /wiki/spaces/CXO/pages/2806776443 so that the tree member will be connected with a line to the parent tree member. | Empty, Populated | Empty | ||||
Order | Use the order attribute to reorder the rows. | 1, 2, 3Format | The /wiki/spaces/CXO/pages/2806776298 attribute will specify the look and feel of the row. This format is not applied to the header of the row, but only to its values. | Default, Default_bold, Default_left, ... | Max + 1 |
Advanced Attributes
List Attribute | Description | Available Values | Default | ||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Header Format | The header /wiki/spaces/CXO/pages/2806776298 | will specify the look and feel of the tree member , defines how the row header should be formatted. The available values are identical with the ones used by the "Format" attribute, but applied only on the row header. | Default, Default_bold, Default | _leftHighlighted Header, ... | Default Format | Reverse Valuation | When this attribute is set to yes, the Valuation will be reversed. This means negative becomes positive and the other way around. Changing the valuation will influence the variance coloring. | No, Yes | No |
Label | Yes/No | No | |||||||
Width | Empty, Populated | Empty | |||||||
Item Type | Displayes the Type of the Item | No Data, Data, Commant | Data | ||||||
Valuation | The value of the valuation is inherited from the underlying system and cannot be directly changed. | n/a | n/a | ||||||
Reverse Sign | When this attribute is set to yes, the sign will be flipped. | No, Yes | No | ||||||
Variance ThresholdSuppress Value | Threshold value for the Variance (e.g., Actual vs. Budget). If the Variance is less than the 1st threshold value, then Red (indicating an unfavorable variance) is used. If the Variance is greater than the 2nd threshold value, then Green (favorable variance) is used. And if Variance is between the 2 threshold values, Orange (neutral variance) is used. Use, for example, -200;300 for absolute thresholds or -10%;20% for relative thresholds. | Empty, Populated | Empty | Redirect Report NameThis value sets automatic row suppressing, click on the type to see the suppressing options. | None | ||||
Suppress Variance | Allows you to set the conditions for not suppressing the Variance, by using a pick list | SuppressNoBaseOrReference | |||||||
Redirect Report | Use this field to select an existing report that will be available through a hyperlink. | Empty, Populated | Empty |
Note: When you redirect to a report of type Multi-Column and that report has the same Value Tree List as an Item Selector, the Multi-Column report will automatically select the tree member where it was redirected from.
