Information valid from AMI version 8.0 initial release

Summary

From AMI 7.2, Language Definitions can be found in the new 'Configuration Options' of AMI, which is designed to show gadgets with an administrative function. The Admin Browser Gadget is being deprecated from Agility 7.2. Note that Language Definitions can only be edited and created using an Agility 7.2 and above server version.

A filter text box is provided so that you can filter on Language name. Users can type a value in here, and the list will filter out all items whose names do not match the filter. Like similar filters in AMI, it is case-insensitive and accepts the wildcard characters ? (match any one character) and * (match any number of characters).

Languages are displayed in a hierarchy, so the parent language will appear above a dependent language in the list. When creating a new language, it will be created below the language that you have selected. It is not possible to remove a language definition.

Note that language layers are not currently available in AMI.
