Manage Source System Matches

Users can match values of embedded data sources with CXO members from Manage Embedding Matches screen. If you have only one source system, you should begin by adding list of dimension members using the New Match button.

Open

To create a new match:

1. Click New Match.

2. Select Dimension. Choose at least one matching member.

3. Click Save.

The new match shows on the Manage embedded matches page.

Open

You will need at least one member match on Source system match page to interact with the Manage embedded matches page.

Step 1: Add a dimension member from the EPM system

Step 2: On the Manage embedded match page, find the member to match it with the member in Power BI.

Add/Delete Column in Source

To add a new column to the Match embedded matches page:

1. Click on Add Column.

2. Give Table name and Display name and click Save.
   
   

To delete a column:

1. Click on header of the column.

2. Click Delete column.
   
   

Set the value to the dimension by clicking the cell and entering the value to match the power BI table with CXO.

Use Power BI control to embed power BI into CXO.
