The Report Parameters define the look & feel and behavior of a report. On the screenshot below you can see the parameters numbers. These numbers refer to the parameters as displayed in the Parameters table. Next to these Parameters there are also /wiki/spaces/CXO/pages/2806776440
Basic Parameters
Parameter | Description | Mandatory |
---|---|---|
1. Numerator | A list of items that will be used as a Pick List in the report. Each item can be a combination of members from the dimensions associated with the list. Usually, the Account dimension is used. | Yes |
2. Reference Categories | A list of items that will be used as Reference Categories in the report. Each item can be a combination of members from the dimensions associated with the list (usually Category, Year and/or Period. Formulas are not allowed. | Yes |
Advanced Parameters
Parameter | Description | Mandatory |
---|---|---|
3. Default Selected Item | Indicates the Item from the List that will be selected / highlighted upon opening of the report. If none is selected, the 1st item will be selected. | No |
4. Denominator label | Dynamic Label that can combine the description of dimension-members and free text. The member-description can be obtained by putting the 3-digit dimension abbreviation between square brackets (e.g., [CAT] for the Category dimension). Note: When using free text, don't use the "[" or "]" characters as these are reserved for Dynamic Label Expressions. | Yes |
5. Time Series | List of items that determines the X-axis of the chart; usually a Time-series associated with the Year and the Period dimension. | Yes |
6. Side Trend | List of items that determines the X-axis of the trend in the side-controls (usually associated with the Year and the Period dimension). | Yes |
7. Label Base Category | Dynamic Label that can combine the description of dimension-members and free text. The member-description can be obtained by putting the 3-character dimension abbreviation between square brackets (e.g., [CAT] for the Category dimension). Note: When using free text, don't use the "[" or "]" characters as these are reserved for Dynamic Label Expressions. | Yes |
8. Breakdown By | With this parameter you can select the dimension for which you want to see the descendants at the right-side or bottom of the report. | Yes |
9. Base / Direct | Select Base if you want to see the base-members (or leaf-members) under a certain parent-node (parent Entity, Product group, etc.). Choose Direct if you want to see the direct descendants (1st generation child-members). | Yes |
10. Reverse Sign | In some underlying systems, costs are input as a negative income. By default, a graph would also show negative values, which makes the graphs less intuitive. The CXO-Cockpit therefore allows for reversing the sign for the purpose of showing such costs as positive values. The financial intelligence (evaluation of green/red) remains intact. | Yes |
11. Q in % | Select 'Yes' if you want to show the relative trend (ratio) as a %, select 'No' if you want to display it as a fraction. | Yes |
12. Scale Main Account (Denominator) | This defines the scaling used for the main account (Denominator) in the report. Options are: Unchanged (no scaling), Thousands, Millions, Billions and Percentage. The last option multiplies the amount by 100 to show the amount as percentage. For example, an amount of 0.75 from the data source is shown as ‘75%’ in CXO-Cockpit. | Yes |
13. Precision Main Account (Denominator) | This defines the number of decimals used for presenting the number. Options are 0-6. Similar to the Scale setting, This sets the precision for the main account (Denominator) in the report. | Yes |
