Change Order of Storyboard Items
A Storyboard contains bookmarks that are placed in a particular order. In order to change the order of the bookmarks follow these steps (see screenshot):
- Open Maintain Storyboard menu
Select the bookmark you want to change the order of
Press the Edit button
In the field "Bookmark Order" select the bookmark at which place you want to put your bookmark
Press the "Save Bookmark" button, the dialog will close
Change Print Orientation of Storyboard Items
A Storyboard contains items that have a specific print orientation. In order to change the print orientation of the Storyboard items, follow these steps:
- Select the bookmark you want to change the print orientation for
- Press the Edit button
- In the field "Print Orientation" select the correct print orientation. The following options are available:
- Portrait without comments: This print mode is useful for multicolumn templates with many rows, this mode will allow the most content on one page
- Portrait with comments: This mode will also print the comments
- Landscape without comments: With this mode the font of the report will be more readable
- Landscape with comments: Please note that with this printing mode there will be very little space for comments
- Press the Save Bookmark button, the dialog will close
Copy Storyboard
You can copy a Storyboard for the following reasons:
- Create a clone form an existing Storyboard so you can change it
- Change the period or entity of all Storyboard items (bookmarks)
- Change the contents of a Storyboard that was sent to you by another user
Take the following steps to copy a Storyboard
- Open the Maintain Storyboard menu and select Copy
- Enter a new name for the Storyboard
- Before the Storyboard will be copied you can fix any POV dimension that has been used in the Storyboard. Read more about this in the POV Fixes article.
- Press Copy and you can use/edit the new Storyboard
Copy Storyboard to Scripted Storyboard
In some cases you would want to extend an existing standard Storyboard with a Scripted Storyboard. To do this, you can copy a selected Storyboard to a Scripted Storyboard and add the required script. As a result, a new Scripted Storyboard will be created.
Take the following steps:
Open the Maintain Storyboard menu to select Copy Selected Storyboard to a Scripted Storyboard
- Enter a new name for a new Scripted Storyboard
Complete the required script
- Press Copy Storyboard
