Introduction
A Template is a pre-defined layout with fixed objects such as Main Table, Trend Chart, Variance Chart, Breakdown Table, etc. They offer functionalities such as drill-down, expanding hierarchies, etc. Using templates eases the quick creation of a wide variety of Reports. It is possible to create a Report from a Template and inherit its pre-defined layoput. It is also possible to deviate from the Template defaults by selecting different dimensions, different lists, different parameters etc.
