Information valid for AMI version 8.0 initial release

Summary

An object id or object name can be entered in to the relevant input fields to add a new relation or to replace an existing one. In the case of a relation attribute that allows multiple objects to be added, a comma separated list of object ids or object names can be entered in the relevant input fields. Alternatively, you can use the object browser to browse for objects to create a relation with. It is possible to select multiple objects by checking the boxes next to the object you want to link to.

Faster adding is possible by pressing the enter key rather than clicking the add key to add relation objects.

In the case of multi-instance relations, note that if an object already exists in the 'Related objects' box, then it won't be possible to add it again. It is possible to select one or multiple relations to replace and for them to be replaced by one or more objects.

Only one object can be linked via a single-instance relation.
