Summary
The purpose of the PDF Viewer Gadget is to allow the user to gadget lets you view a PDF of any document that the current object appears in, and optionally request that a new an updated version of the PDF be generated.
The main gadget body is taken up with shows a thumbnail of the first page of the PDF for the selected document. If no document or PDF can be located, the preview is replaced with shows a 'No PDF Available' label.

Select Document list
The Select Document List list shows the documents that the currently selected object appears in. If the current object has a Visual associated with (or its parent or an ancestor has a Visual associated with it) then the list will show the document associated with the visual.
If the object (or its parent/ancestor) does not have a Visual associated with it then the list contains all of the 'document' objects the current object lives beneath in the current event's document structure.
Requesting a PDF
If the user is allowed to Request a new PDF, then a 'Request PDF' button is shown at the bottom of the gadget. Select Request PDF to regenerate the PDF associated with the document. You InDesign server will re-open the document, refresh the attributes, images and prices as defined in the gadget's configuration, and then perform an Update Document Structure process to regenerate the PDF.

Gadget Options
Show Documents In Other Events
If selected enabled, the document Select Document list includes all documents from other Events still in progress that the current object appears beneath, not just those in the current event.
Include Complete Events
If selected enabled, documents from ALL events, irrespective of whether they are in progress or completed, are shown. It is only enabled once the 'Show Documents In Other Events' checkbox is selected is enabled.
