Introduction

The Admin user is the one that can create and modify shared objects like variables, formats, cube calculations and lists, create report, modify or delete any report, create new private objects from scratch or based on a copy of a shared object, menu groups, menu items etc.  All of this can be done by accessing the CXO Designer.

To access the CXO- Designer, after the admin user logs in the CXO-Cockpit application, administration button will be available next to the log out button in the upper right corner. By clicking on the Administration Button, the admin user will enter in CXO Designer.

CONTENT

The CXO Designer is the place where CXO-Cockpit reports can be designed and maintained by the Admin. 

This article describes the layout of the CXO Designer Studio.

Available options

Once the admin opens the Designer by accessing Administration the admin can manage all reports through the "open report" panel. The other options which are available are:

  • New Report - This is used when the admin needs to create new report from template or free format report
  • User Management - To manage the Users and User Groups
  • Shared Objects - To manage all the Shared Objects
  • Settings - To manage the application settings and source system defaults
  • CXO-Cockpit - To leave the CXO-Designer and return to the CXO-Cockpit
