The Open Report Section is primarily used to select a report as the currently displayed report. The reports are shown in a tree view in four different hierarchies:
- Unpublished Reports: Reports that are created but are not yet published and are not included in any of the Menus
- Reports by Menu: Reports are grouped by their Menu Group, this view only shows reports that appear in the Menus
- Reports by Template: Reports are grouped by their Template, this view will contain all published reports
- Last modified: Reports which were modifiied last
For a user that belongs to a User Group which has only the Report Builder role, this tab is named "My Reports" and only includes reports authored by that user that are not included in any of the Menus. ???
Besides selecting a new current report, the Open Report Panel provides other functionality:
Unpublished reports
- Unpublished reports View: 'Copy', 'Place in Menu' and 'Delete'
- Reports by Menu View: 'Copy', 'Place in Menu' and 'Remove from Menu'
- Reports by template View: 'Create new report', 'Copy', 'Place in Menu'
- Last modified: 'Copy', 'Place in Menu'
For users that belongs to a User Group which has the Report Builder role, the right-click actions available are 'Open', 'Copy', 'Create new report' and 'About'. ???
