From under the Failed tab, you can delete an entire workflow from the Context Menu on the workflow details page.
This action applies to all the approval members of the workflow. If you proceed to delete, no future instances of the workflow will be created.

You can also choose to delete a particulate failed workflow item from the list. In this case, only the selected failed workflow instance gets deleted. The workflow will be available and shown for the next occurring instance.
The following options are available to be applied to all its corresponding sub-workflows under the failed workflow:
Edit
Opens edit workflow<link> screen where the step owner can be reassigned/added/deleted. The user can then retry attempting the step again which will appear under the user’s My task .
Retry all
Click to trigger retry action for all the sub-workflows.
Delete all
Click to trigger delete action for all the sub-workflow.
