Anti-virus configuration requirements

In order to avoid performance issues caused by an Anti-Virus software, the following diretories should be excluded from the monitoring on every CXO-Cockpit server:

1. The CXO-Cockpit installation folder
   typically, C:\Program Files\CXO Solutions\CXO-Cockpit\
   The default location is mentioned here, please note that CXO-Cockpit might be installed to another location
   
2. .Net Framework config directories
   C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\CONFIG
   C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Config
   
3. ASP.net temp file directory
   C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Temporary ASP.NET Files
   
4. IIS config folder
   C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\config\
5. IIS Temporary Compressed Files
   C:\inetpub\temp\IIS Temporary Compressed Files
   

The directories listed above might still be scanned on schedule-basis at the time when the CXO-Cockpit is not likely to be used.
