FCCS Configuration

For FCCS only!

The unary operator is not providing complete data. Please note the following to address the issue:

  • Unless mentioned otherwise in the extract: unary operator = ‘+’.

  • If Data Storage of a member = ‘label only’, then unary operator of all children = ‘~’.

  • Unary operator ‘-’ can be forced by placing the parent-child pair in a special maintainable table (note that unary-operators are defined for a parent-child combination. In case of duplications, an account can have a different unary operator for each of the parents).

  • Unless mentioned otherwise in the extract, the account type of a parent is derived from the children according to the rule in the attachment.

  • In theory you can never have a conflicting combination of children for example, asset/+ and liability/+. To avoid any conflict, you can read ‘first child’ as ‘child’.

  • This rule must be applied bottom-up, that is, start at the leaf-level and continue to the top.
