Introduction
The reports built on this template are used to analyze the relation between three accounts within an analytical or entity dimension. By putting the three accounts on the three axis (X axis, Y Axis, Size) a three-dimensional analysis can be made. By analysing the movement from the full circle to the open circle you can make a variance movement analysis.
Parameters
The report parameters define the look & feel and behaviour of a report. On the screenshot below you can see the parameters numbers. These numbers refer to the parameters as displayed in the Basic Parameters and Advanced Parameters table. Next to basic and advanced parameters there are also /wiki/spaces/CXO/pages/2806776440
Basic Parameters

1. Portfolio Items | Yes | A list of items that will be used as a Pick List in the report. Each item can be a combination of members from the dimensions associated with the list. Usually, the Account dimension is used. The pick luist defines which which account or other Dimension Member is analysed. |
2. Reference Categories | Yes | A list of items that will be used as Reference Categories in the report. Each item can be a combination of members from the dimensions associated with the list (usually Category, Year and/or Period). Formulas are not allowed. |
Advanced Parameters

3. Side Trend | No | List of items that determines the X-axis of the chart; usually a Time-series associated with the Year and the Period dimension. |
4. Breakdown By | Yes | With this parameter you can select the dimension for which you want to see the descendants at the right-side or bottom of the report. In case of the Waterfall-chart it determines the nature of the movements or variance components. In case of the Ranking template it shows the ranking dimension. |
5. Label Base Category | Yes | Dynamic Label that can combine the description of dimension-members and free text. The member-description can be obtained by putting the 3-digit dimension abbreviation between square brackets (e.g., [CAT] for the Category dimension). Don't use the [ or ] character in free text. |
6. X-Norm | Yes | Norm value you can set on your X-Axis |
7. Y-Norm | Yes | Norm value you can set on your Y-Axis |
