Introduction

In version 6.3.2. a new functionality is introduced. This functionality gives the possibility to use Light Users. This is an evolution of the CXO Viewer, extending the available License Types to allow create users with a more access to the application's functionalities, e.g. they cannot access reports through menu but only through shared contents (storyboards or conversations) and can change and access only partially the POVsLight Users can partially change and access the POV. The status indicator is accessible to the light user, hence will be able to view the status of the workflow.

Access of the Light User

The Light User can login can login to CXO . The page "to open My Storyboards" with a list of shared storyboards will open. However, Access to the access to report menu is restricted for the if logged on as a Light User . The Light User had the only possibility to play the storyboards that are shared.as they can only Play these shared storyboards. All the POV dimensions are frozen , only the apart from Year and Period will be excluded.  The Ligth user dimensions. The Light User has the possibility option to edit Page Notes and POV Comments in a storyboard . Also can the Light User open and start and participate in conversations.
The Light User will only can have access to one entity from the structure of the source. The entity dimension will be frozen and the Light User cannot change it. However, there are still possibilities to give a Light User a view of different entities see below what the options are.

The storyboard will play the reports for this specific entity. The year Year and the period Period dimensions can be selected adjusted by the Light User.

Light User = user  user who does NOT have the 'Access Menu and Full POV' permission. The manage Users function will be needs to be used by the security admin to create the Light User. Once the light user is created with its own POV security filter any Regular User can give access via a storyboard to a Light User. Just simply share a storyboard with the user. The difference of the 'can assign the Access Menu and Full POV permission (Regular User) or remove the Access Menu and Full POV permission (Light User) in the permission section of User Groups and Users. Regular Users can share storyboards with a Light User.
