Dynamic label expressions Label Expressions are small script fields that define labels used in the cockpitCXO-Cockpit.
The dynamic label expressions Dynamic Label Expressions can be configured at in two places in the CXO-Design Studio Functional Administrator:
- In the report parameters Report Parameters on the ´Label Base Category´ field.
- On the Custom Description of a List Lists Item
The syntax can contain the following elements:
- [Dimension 3 Character AcronymDimension 3 character acronym] or [Dimension 3 Character Acronym].Description [Dimension3 Character Acronym(if nothing included after the 3 character acronym, Description is default)
- [Dimension 3 character acronym].Name
- Free text
Please note, that you need to put the "=" sign before the label expression.
Example:
=[ACC].Name [ACC].Description - [A01].Description, or alternatively [ACC].Name [ACC] - [A01]
Translation:
1000 Sales - Wireless Set-top Receivers
You can also use a special expression [NEWLINE] to make the description break onto a new line
Example:
=[ACC].Name [NEWLINE] [ACC].Description - [A01] .Description
...
Translation:
1000 Sales
...
Sales - Wireless Set-top Receivers
