Summary
The User screen provides controls for viewing and modifying lets you view and modify user details. The User Group and User Name selectors at the top of the screen can be used to select a user, and populate the screen's panels with that user's details.
At the bottom of the screen are 'Apply' and 'Cancel' buttons, which can be used to save your changes back to Agility, or revert the screen to showing the original state of the user's data.

The User screen remembers changes made in all of its panels, and when you save your changes back to the server, Apply changes all changes made in any of the panels will be saved - not just the panel that is currently open. |

Panels in the User screen
The "Main
" PanelThis panel contains basic information about the user.
- Login Name—the name required to login as the user. This must be unique among all users.
- User Name—the name of the user displayed in Agility.
- Email—the email address of the user.
- Role—the user's access to Agility functionality. Your system's Agility licence will determine how many users of each role can be defined.
See the Users article for more information.- Administrator—the user may access all functionality.
- Standard—the user has access to only the non-administrative functionality.
- Viewer—the user has only read access to objects.
- Supplier—the user may only access objects with a Brand structure.
- SSO only Login—whether the user can only use an SSO login. If enabled, the user's Password Management options will be disabled.
- Visualizer Licence—whether the user can access Visualizer.
- Allow moves from/to any state—the user may change an Agility workflow state regardless of whether they have been defined as an owner of that state.
- Change password at next login—obliges the user to change their password when they next login to AMI.
- UI Locale—the locale used for number and date values.
Password Management
- Login via AMI—change and confirm a new password. This password is stored in Agility.
- Login via LDAP—set the server and properties required to access a central store of user credentials.
- Your IT team will have this information.
Groups
This panel shows all of the existing User Groups, allowing you to add the current user to any number of groups.
A user must belong to at least one group.
If a user belongs to more than one group then their access rights will be the most permissive of their combined rights.
The "Languages" PanelFor example, if a user belongs to one group that cannot edit but can delete an object and a second group that cannot edit but can delete it, then the user's combined access rights will allow them to both edit and delete that object.
Languages
This panel shows all of the Languages defined within Agility and allows you to select which ones the User has access to.
The Useruser's default language can also be defined here.
The "Workspaces" PanelDefault Language sets which language version of object and attribute names is displayed in AMI.
Workspaces
This panel shows all of the Workspaces workspaces defined within Agility and allows you to select which ones the User has access to.
The Useruser's default workspace can also be defined here.
The "Attributes" PanelDefault Workspace sets which workspace is displayed the first time a user logs in to AMI.
Attributes
This panel shows a table of the attributes in the attribute set that is associated with User objects. You can both view and edit the attributes' values.
The "Permissions
This panel shows the custom permissions for the user.
User Snapshot
" PanelThe User Snapshot is a record of the state that AMI was in the last time a user accessed it. Usually this snapshot is recorded whenever the user logs out, but if changes are made in the User screen while the user is logged in question is using to AMI , their snapshot will not be updated when they next log out. This is to prevent users from inadvertently overwriting changes made in the User gadget.

Take care when editing the User Snapshot. If : if this value is left in an invalid state , the user will may not be able to log in to AMI. If this happens, the user can be recovered by emptying the empty their snapshot field completely. This will allow the user to log back in, but any preferences the user has had set will have been be lost. |

Selecting "AddAvatars
If your system's User object type has a Preview Attribute defined then you can upload an image for a user, to replace the default initials: hover over the initials and select Upload Image.
You may select a WebP, PNG or JPEG image smaller than 500KB.

Add New User...
" launchesSelect this option to open the Add New User dialog. This dialog requires a few basic details requests the mandatory information required to create a new user. Upon successfully creating a new user the dialog will close and the new user will be displayed in the User screen.
DisableNewly created users will appear in the currently selected User Group.
Disable User
This option allows you to disable the currently selected user. Disabled users can no longer log in to AMI or Agility Governance, and they are not displayed in the User screen.
Delete. Their account will still count towards the number of users licensed for your system.
Disabled accounts may be re-enabled later.
Delete User
Completely remove the currently selected user. A deleted user cannot be restored.
ReRe-enable Users...
Selecting Select this option launches Re-enable Users dialog. This dialog displays to see a list of all disabled users. Using this dialog, multiple disabled users can be selected and re-enabled at once, then select the users you wish to re-enable.
