From AMI 7.2, Channels can be found in the new 'Configuration Options' of AMI, which is designed to show gadgets with an administrative function. The Admin Browser Gadget is being deprecated from Agility 7.2. |
The list of Channels potentially could be very long, and so a filter text box is provided. Users can type a value in here, and the list will filter out all items whose names do not match the filterYou can Filter the list of channels. Like similar filters in AMI, it is case-insensitive and accepts the wildcard characters ? (match any one character) and * (match any number of characters).
Each item in the list can be clicked on to open an appropriate editorSelect a channel to edit its name.

Gadget Action Menu Items
Create <item>Create Channel...
Opens an editor to let Lets you define a new itemchannel.

Access Rights...
Administrator users can set the access rights to Channels for User Groups or individual Users. These access rights apply to Channels in general, not to specific Channels.

- Remove—remove existing definitions
- Inherit—use the access rights from the parent group
