NEW SCHEDULER, EXPORT IMPROVEMENTS, AND USER EXPERIENCE ENHANCEMENTS 

CXO Software Version 2122.4 1 provides new updates and functionality to help you better utilize your data and reduce manual efforts. This release introduces new scheduling enhancements, export upgrades, and user experience improvements for a more responsive, streamlined look and feel. Highlights of this release includethree new features: 

• OneStream scheduler
• SSAS Tabular Model displays friendly names
• Horizontal growth in tables

OneStream Scheduler

Easier Data Extraction 

Version 21.4 introduces the OneStream scheduler to help minimize manual processes. You can now schedule data extraction on set days and times rather than manually starting extractions. This creates a more convenient process for users and ensures their data is current.

SSAS Tabular Model: Display aliases

Automatically Show Aliases on Reports

With CXO version 21.4, you can now more easily identify fields with the automatic inclusion of aliases on reports. The SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) tabular model will now display aliases on reports instead of the technical member name. This update offers a more convenient user experience and will save time for future reporting as you no longer need to change the technical member names by entering custom descriptions in CXO. For example, CXO will show “Revenue” instead of “a1000” for a revenue account.

Horizontal Growth in tables

Make Better Use of Your Screen Space 

CXO now allows horizontal growth based on content for free-format table controls. This enhancement provides an improved user experience by growing your tables horizontally to create a more streamlined look and feel.

OneStream: load parent members only

For our connection with OneStream, we added an option that makes it possible to only load data of totals that are stored on parent members. This is useful as for reporting you don’t always need to have all the detailed data that you have in your EPM system. Now you can indicate to load only certain total data on parents, and by doing that the detailed data on children are not loaded into CXO. Extractions and your CXO application therefore contain less data which will benefit performance, both of the extractions and the loading of reports. OneStream: clearer error messages

We now have clearer error and warning messages generated by CXO in the OneStream adapter to better understand what the message is about. Furthermore, we provide next steps to make it easier to address the right people to resolve the problem. Finally, some UI tweaks make the data processing screen more intuitive. Longview Tax

We have created a connection to Longview Tax. It's not only possible to connect to Longview Tax (as described here: Longview Close and Tax Adapter - Installation Guide - Documentation - Confluence (atlassian.net) ), but you can also download a standard set of 7 Tax reports. Next to that, you can still build your own tax reports. This feature is an addition to out Longview Close adapter.
