CXO -Cockpit has two different ways to connect to a source system:

The main difference is that data loaded through an integration adapter is not live. With direct source integration there is no replication and the data is always live. For the following source systems there is direct source integration support:

• Hyperion Essbase - OLAP Connector
• Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
• SAP BPC - Microsoft
