Introduction

Connected to the introduction of Light Users, it must be possible to assign Light User (and General User) permissions also through user groups.
Contextually we should improve the user groups management to make clearer to the Admin which is the minimal required license a user needs to have in order to be part of a user groupCan view reports, access menu and POV, as well as create storyboards.

Working of the Regular User

Regular User = user who does have the 'Access Menu and Full POV' permission.

The difference of the 'Access Menu and Full POV' permission are as follows;

WITH "Access Menu and Full POV"
Permission
Users WITHOUT "Access Menu and Full POV"
Permission

In CXO-Cockpit:

  • have the Menu to open reports
  • View Home Report
  • Viewing a report: can change any POV (following the current rules)
  • Can create storyboards, share them and have any role on storyboards ***

In CXO-Cockpit:

  • do NOT have the Menu to open reports
  • Do not view Home Report
    • Home for these users will be the 'My Storyboards' Panel (clicking on Home function), they will be reverted there
    • If the user has no shared Storyboard, show in the panel a sentence as "You do not have any shared storyboard yet"
  • Viewing a report:
    • can change ONLY Period and Year POV (following the current rules)
    • can't change any of the other POV, i.e. the POV will be frozen on the first option (the first option will be determined following the current rules)
  • Can't create storyboards, can have only 'Viewer' role on storyboards shared with them

The different license types are as follows;
